- Why is it free right now?
- ScreenGuardian is in public beta. We want real usage before we flip on paid subscriptions, so beta codes unlock every feature at no cost.
- When does the paid plan launch?
- We're targeting a few months of stable beta before we turn on billing. Beta testers will get early-bird pricing and a heads-up before anything changes.
- Who processes payments later?
- Paddle will handle payments as our Merchant of Record. That means they collect tax/VAT in your country, issue compliant invoices, and deal with chargebacks. We never see or store your card details.
- Can I cancel any time?
- Yes. Once Pro launches you'll be able to cancel from the in-app account page or the Paddle customer portal. Your current billing period stays active until it runs out.
- What if I already have a beta code?
- Redeem it inside the app (Help → Redeem Beta Code) or at /beta. A beta grant stays live until we revoke it.
